Margot Henderson and Melanie Arnold have brought Rochelle Canteen to the Institute of Contemporary Arts, creating a brand new bar and restaurant, with furniture by Alvar Aalto. Rochelle’s menu is reflective of their honest, classic cooking style. Ben Coombs, who has previously worked at Rochelle Canteen in Shoreditch as well as at The Beagle and Le Coq, is head chef. Melanie’s son Fin Spiteri, formerly of Quo Vadis, Trullo and Flat Iron, has produced a cocktail list with a focus on classic drinks. Beers are from The House of Peroni and coffee is from Caravan.
Rochelle Canteen serves a changing seasonal menu for lunch and dinner as well as a bar snacks menu and a selection of homemade bakes. Rochelle Canteen at the ICA is a great place to meet for dinner, share a drink and stay into the evening once the exhibitions close and the cinemas dim.
Rochelle Canteen also supplies food and drinks for venue hires within the ICA's 18th-century Nash and Brandon Rooms, our fully equipped theatre, working artists' studio and two state-of-the-art cinema spaces. Visit Venue Hire at the ICA to find out more.
