Our annual showcase of short film at its most experimental. Manipulations and montage transport us through MRI scans, Craigslist ads and spam inboxes, with soundscapes built from the churnings of satellites, dipping into Swedish arachnid magic and Ghanaian folklore. We see the return of filmmakers Andrew Kötting and Guli Silberstein, new talent from further afar in Marnie Ellen Hertzler and Canadian filmmaker Guy Maddin paying homage to Hitchcock’s Rear Window. 96 minutes.
