Apply to this programme here

Aged 16-24 and want to gain work experience in the creative industry? Join us for a series of free workshops and meetings offering training and skills in hosting a youth festival, supported by a mentor and with a Level 1 accreditation attached (Community Development & Leadership Award).

This free mentoring and employability programme is held over three sessions. Two evening sessions take place on 6 and 13 July from 6pm-8.30pm. The third session runs from 10am-2pm or 2pm-6pm and takes place on 22 July, as part of the ICA’s summer youth festival, in-visible.

On Saturday 22 July, ICA Youth Ambassadors GUAP Magazine and The Slumflower are curating in-visible, an all-day youth festival at the ICA featuring talks, film screenings, art workshops and a live music programme.

We want YOU to join us in delivering this festival, gaining work experience in the creative industry and honing your event management skills over three fun sessions at the ICA.

You’ll undergo group tasks and training in creating digital content, interview skills and confidence, and completing your ICA Volunteers Induction, which will enable you to support the delivery of the festival – all while gaining a nationally-recognised Level 1 accreditation.

The three workshops will take place on 6, 13 and 22 July, and YOU MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT TO ALL THREE SESSIONS in order to take part.

Register your free place using the link below, or email Associate Curator Carey Robinson at youngica@ica.art for more information.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on 15 June and we will let you know if your application has been successful by 28 June.
