Young Leader Application Development Workshop

24 Jun 2017

This workshop will focus on the development of your creative ideas and how to structure them for a Young Leader workshop outline or proposal. It is ideal for people aged 16-24 who are planning to apply for the Young Leader Award.

The Young Leader award offers anyone aged 16-24 with a creative skill, idea or talent they’d like to share an unmissable opportunity to access funds of up to £500 to deliver an event or a workshop at the ICA or in their local community. Supported by a mentor over approximately three sessions, the programme enables young people to shape and facilitate a workshop in order to pass on a creative passion or skill to other young people, with all costs covered, and to gain a nationally recognised Level 1 Young Leader award at the same time.

As well as leading to a Level 1 accreditation, the Young Leader Programme will enhance your skills in:

  • Devising and planning a creative project.
  • Events management.
  • Budgeting.
  • Self-reflection.
  • Evaluation

Apply now! Book your free place here or email Associate Curator Carey Robinson at youngica@ica.art for more information. Young Leader applications are accepted on a rolling basis, so we will be running application development workshops throughout the year.
