NTS and the ICA present a one time screening of Instrument, filmmaker Jem Cohen's collaboration with Washington D.C. band Fugazi
Shot on Super 8, 16mm and video, the film covers the period between 1987-1998 and comprises of concert footage, interviews, practices, tours and time spent in the studio recording their 1995 album Red Medicine.
Far from a traditional documentary, this is a musical document; a portrait of musicians at work.
