• Duncan Campbell

  Duncan Campbell lives and works in Glasgow, Scotland. His recent solo exhibitions include: Manifesta 9, The European Biennial of Contemporary Art, Genk, Belgium (2012); Duncan Campbell, Carnegie Museum, Pittsburgh, USA (2012); and Arbeit, HOTEL, London, UK (2011). Group exhibitions include Year of Cooperation, Broadway 1602, New York (2012); Critique & Clinic, Berlin Film Festival, Berlin, Germany (2012); and Moving Portraits, De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill, UK (2011).

• Shezad Dawood

  Shezad Dawood (b. London, 1974) works across film, painting and sculpture to juxtapose discrete systems of image, language, site and historical narrative. His practice often involves collaboration, working with groups and individuals across different territories to physically and conceptually map far-reaching lines of enquiry. Dawood's paintings and sculptures interplay with his film work as liminal extensions of his interrogation of perception, the politics of place, and structures of belief. Recent projects include feature film Piercing Brightness (2013) and a solo exhibition at Parasol Unit, London (2014). Shezad is a Jarman Award nominee (2012). He currently lives and works in London, where he is Research Fellow in Experimental Media at the University of Westminster.

• Christian Jankowski

  Christian Jankowski lives and works in Berlin. Recent solo exhibitions include “Heavy Weight History”, Lisson Gallery, London (2014); “Heavy Weight History”, CCA Tel Aviv (2014) and Wasser, Käse, Feuer. Christian Jankowski. “25 Editionen und ein anonymes Original” Helga Maria Klosterfelde Edition, Berlin (2014). He has participated in numerous group shows including “Tears and Politics: Works by Phil Collins and Christian Jankowski”, Blaffer Art Museum, Houston (2014); “Room Service”, Staatliche Kunsthalle Baden-Baden (2014); “Real Emotions: Thinking in Film”, KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin (2014) and “Things we discover alone (Independent Learning)”, Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst Leipzig (2014).

• Rebecca Shatwell

  Rebecca Shatwell is Director of AV Festival in Newcastle upon Tyne. She curated the last three editions of the biennial Festival, which included solo exhibitions with artists including: James Benning, Torsten Lauschmann, Jessica Warboys, On Kawara, Cyprien Gaillard, John Gerrard, Akio Suzuki and Lara Almarcegui, in addition to newly commissioned live events with Phill Niblock, Bruce McClure, Test Dept, Hamish Fulton and Charlemagne Palestine amongst others. Film projects have included a focus on Wang Bing, Pat Collins, Mathieu Kleyebe Abonnenc, Duncan Campbell, Yervant Gianikian & Angela Ricci Lucchi and Ben Rivers.  She is on the board of directors of Pavilion in Leeds, and previously worked at CCA, Glasgow and ran alt.gallery an independent space for sound art.

• Sarah Turner

  Sarah Turner is an artist who writes and makes films. Her work spans single screen gallery pieces (rooted in the formal preoccupations of the avant-garde from which she emerged) to feature length projects that explore the interplay between abstraction and narration. All of her films have toured nationally and internationally and several have been broadcast through artists’ showcases on Channel 4. Sarah has had feature scripts commissioned by the British Film Institute, Film Four Lab and Zephyr Films. Her feature films Ecology (2007) and Perestroika (2009) are characterized by explorations of technologies, experimental approaches to writing and an engagement with experiences of narrative, immersion and embodiment within the long form film.
