Art Night: East Piazza, Covent Garden and Covent Garden Apple Market

East Piazza, Covent Garden

Covent Garden is one of London’s main shopping and entertainment destinations, with a diverse range of shops, restaurants and theatres nearby. The neo-classical market building and piazza, commissioned to Charles Fowler in 1830, are still the heart of Covent Garden today. For Art Night, a new video series by choreographer and artist Cecilia Bengolea is projected in the East Piazza of Covent Garden.

A film memory collection, in which visitors are invited to write their film memories on 70mm filmstrips, also takes place 8-11pm. This is part of a project by Jennifer West.
