NOIT Journal # 1
£10.00

The first issue of NOIT Journal explores the concept of flat-time, the concept devised by the late artist John Latham in a format that mirrors the way he himself developed and spread his various insights into the working processes of art production, through personal recollections of encounters with Latham. Published by Flat Time House, his former residence turned art institute, the journal continues Lathams method of opening his doors to all conversations and interested parties. Inviting the likes of Patrick Keiller, Hans Ulrich Obrist, John Stezaker, David Toop, Lucy Lippard, Jane Rolo and others to talk about Lathams influence and ideas seems a fitting way to continue his legacy.

The Happy Hypocrite #6: Freedom
£8.00

Triumphant return of Book Works art writing journal this time spectacularly edited by Lynne Tillman and focusing on ideas of Freedom. With contributions from the master of short fiction Lydia Davis and the likes of artist Paul Chan as well as an insightful interview with Thomas Keenan on the development of the language of human rights, The Happy Hypocrite remains as prescient and soul-scouring as ever.

Pages #9: Seep
£8.75

Pages is the best farsi-english language journal we stock by a mile. Though semi-suspicious of ‘themed issues’ Pages pick themes outside of the normal ‘romance issue’ or ‘food issue’ nonsense. This issues theme is Seep, the seep of ink into pages, the seep of oil into everyday Iranian life, the seep of the above ground into the underground, etc. With essays from the likes of Eugene Thacker, Nina Parzham and Mariam Motamedi Fraser as well as artists contributions from Mark von Schlegell, Alexi Kukuljevic and Suzanne Treister, Pages continues it’s status as an always surprising imtellectual marvel i.e it is very good.

Mono.Kultur #35 Marina Abramovic: Army of Me
£9.00

Mono.Kultur have spent 35 issues doing in-depth monographical interviews with the finest creative minds still alive (and the occasional bore)> This issue is devoted to everyones favourite Serbian performance art demi-goddess, Marina Abramovic. These 50 pages probe her newly formed Institute, criticism for hosting experience-parties sponsored by Moet, fashion and why she loves James Franco even though his performance is “really not good”.
