We will be closed during the London Olympics from next Monday 23 July to 17 August.

In the run-up to the games, we will be open every day with exhibitions opening late - until 9pm. Please note, The Mall, Marlborough Road and Horse Guards Road are closed to traffic and pedestrians, which will impact your approach to the ICA. When coming to any event or film, please allow enough time to re-route, and access the ICA from the steps leading down from Carlton House Terrace. TFL has set up a dedicated website, Get Ahead of the Games, to help plan your journey.

During these few weeks you can visit our special online and off-site projects:

ART DRIVE!

ART DRIVE! presents remarkable designs by some of the greatest names in contemporary art housed in an extraordinary venue, as the ICA occupies 60s Shoreditch landmark The Great Eastern Street Car Park as a temporary gallery space.

Artists include Alexander Calder, Sandro Chia, Ken Done, Ernst Fuchs, David Hockney, Jenny Holzer, Matazo Kayama, Jeff Koons, Roy Lichtenstein, Esher Mahlangu, Cesar Manrique, M.J Nelson, A.R Penck, Robert Rauschenberg, Frank Stella, Andy Warhol. Join the ART DRIVE! event page on Facebook.

SOUNDWORKS

Online: over one hundred new sound works have been produced by artists from all over the world. Selected by our curators and art institutions worldwide, the artists have been invited to submit a sound work, taking its stimulus from themes evoked in Bruce Naumans Days as part of our season on sound. SOUNDWORKS presents an online platform that doubles as a virtual exhibition space, making the works internationally accessible, a place to explore the genre as a medium which is simultaneously inclusive, interactive, and subversive. Follow #icasoundworks on Twitter for our #artistoftheday.

We re-open on Saturday 18 August alongside a Moyra Davey Artists' Film Club and a full cinema programme including Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry; A Simple Life, Eames – The Architect and the Painter and The Bird.
